After the official opening by Cr. Brooke Patterson, the 12 teams got stuck into their 11 matches. With each match being 1 hr duration, 6 were played on day 1 and 5 the next. Over a total of 132 matches, nearly 1,300 hoops were won or lost, with plenty more missed !!!!

Players came from clubs spread
from Newcastle NSW to Maryborough Qld and after plenty of close games and a few upsets, the winners after the 2 days were Gordon Giles (Wynnum) and our Mary.

As a final note, many thanks to fellow club members who assisted both inside and outside these past 2 days.
